Request a Planning Presentation

There is a lot of change happening in Bellevue and city staff is working hard to keep the community informed about what to expect and how to get involved. This fall staff from the Comprehensive Planning Team and the Development Services Team are available to come to you to share information about current projects and answer questions. The two presentations we can offer are:

  1. Introduction to Missing Middle Housing. Recent state legislation requires cities to allow "missing middle" types of housing - duplexes, cottage housing, fourplexes, etc. - in single-family neighborhoods. Our team will review the new requirements, share examples of what this kind of housing looks like, and let people know how the city is approaching implementing these new requirements.
  2. Updating Bellevue's Tree Code. Staff are working on a comprehensive update of Bellevue's tree regulations. This update may include changes to tree removal permitting, tree retention requirements with construction, tree protection requirements, and more. Staff can provide more information on the project's scope and progress to date, and also answer questions from the community.

Fill out this form to let our staff know which presentation you're interested in and some options for dates. We will get back to you to set something up.
