Raising rent running us out of Bellevue

Been renting a home in the Sunset Ranch neighborhood since 2016. Rent has increased 35% during that time and is now over 35% of our monthly income.

From data on Zillow, I can see that our landlord purchased the house in 2005 for $280,000 and is now valued at over $1.1 million. The house is run down, the landlord is not very responsive to fixing repairs and we pay $3,200 a month.

When we look around to find somewhere else, there is very little availability and it would cost more. We are stuck and now are looking to move out of Bellevue.
